SHINY & SUSTAINABLE HOLIDAY ARTWORK

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas: The Calvin Klein holiday campaign was based on circular forms with discs in traditional holiday colors. For that special Christmas spirit in the windows, the festive color scheme of the modular 3D display ranged from brushed silver and gold to red, white, and shiny silver. With a big focus on recyclability, the main challenge was using sustainable and eco-friendly materials for the disc displays in small and large kits. Ultimately, the paper used for the window and in-store installations was certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC): Being 100% sustainable, the artsy display could easily be thrown into the paper bin afterwards. It was topped off with campaign box wraps made out of FSC certified paper and UV-print PP as well as vinyl window and floor stickers.

This global holiday window campaign was LIGANOVA’s first retail campaign for Calvin Klein. LIGANOVA was responsible for the design finetuning, prototyping, special creation of installation videos and customized elements for the flagship stores in Dusseldorf, Milan and London Regent Street as well as the production and logistic for the global roll-out of the holiday window concept and various instore elements in over 300 stores in 36 countries.
