KEEPING IT FLUENT FOR FALL –THE HERO SCAFFOLDING CONSTRUCTION
Tommy Hilfiger celebrated the fall season with a global window campaign that unites three collections: the commercial campaign, plus the capsule collections with actress and singer Zendaya and World Champion Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton. The overall challenge was to create a versatile structure that ensured a smooth transition in between the collections. The core piece of the campaign was a scaffolding construction made of chrome tubes, neon lights and concrete textured platforms which was easily adaptable and yet captured the unique spirit of each individual collection.
The fall window series kicked off with the commercial campaign “Modern American Classics” that showcased iconic styles remixed. Here, the construction featured colorful neon lights and engraved acrylic panels, layered one in front of the other to display the collection’s monogram.
Up next, the 70ies and 80ies inspired TommyXZendaya capsule collection took over: Thus, the chrome structure featured new elements like printed velvet walls, engraved panels and additional white LED tubes to fully get into the mood of the collection.
Finally, the capsule collection by brand ambassador Lewis Hamilton hit the stores, and the setup had to be just as aesthetic, young and powerful as the clothes he’s designed – a combination of his personal taste and the brand’s longstanding DNA. To emphasize that distinct spirit in the windows, black metal podiums were added and the central panels reproduced the Lewis Hamilton logo that was running like a thread through the whole collection.
LIGANOVA was responsible for the development and production of the creative fall window series and on top also developed and produced smaller accessories windows and customized window concepts for ten international flagship stores such as London’s Regent Street and Paris’ Boulevard des Capucines.
